Before the last season of "The Handmaid's Tale" premiered on Hulu this Tuesday, actress Elisabeth Moss shared a wild story about her final days on set.
Moss, who has won an Emmy Award for her performance in "The Handmaid's Tale," wanted to keep a custom-made underwear that she wore while playing the role of Offred. Unfortunately, someone beat her to the punch.
Several props and costumes from "The Handmaid's Tale" were up for grabs once the crew was done filming the final season. During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in late March, Moss revealed that an unknown crew member put in a request to take home her underwear.
"There was one thing I wanted, which was Offred’s underwear and set that I wore that was specially designed," Moss told Kimmel. "And someone told me that someone already asked for it."
Jimmy Kimmel was understandably shocked by this story.
"Wait a minute," Kimmel replied. "This is your custom underwear that you wore and some creep on the staff requested it in writing? Like, 'I want Elisabeth's underpants. I'm going to take them home. I'm going to put them in storage for a while.'"
Moss couldn't help but laugh at that response from Kimmel. She then told him that she doesn't want to know who asked for her underwear from "The Handmaid’s Tale."
After appearing on Kimmel's late night show, however, Moss found out who's in possession of her underwear. It turns out the original request wasn't as creepy as it sounds.
"I think it's so funny," Moss told PEOPLE. "Also, I know who it is, but I need him to [reveal himself]. He told me and it wasn't exactly what we thought it was. It's not bad. It's not as bad as we thought it was. He didn't actually specifically ask for my underwear, which is good. So we're good guys."
Maybe, just maybe, Moss will get her custom-made underwear back before the Season 6 finale is released worldwide.
The final season of "The Handmaid's Tale" is available to stream on Hulu.
