Bill Belichick’s Girlfriend Is Actually Younger Than Originally Reported

Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson spent her 24th birthday confusing those who have followed the couple’s relationship about her actual age.

On June 14, 20224, TMZ was the first to confirm that the former New England Patriots head coach and ex-competitive cheerleader were officially an item, with the headline noting that she was 23 years old at the time. (Look closely at the URL to that story, however, and you will see that it notes her age as 24 and that an update to the story was made four days after its original publication.)

Since that time, publications—including ours—have noted Hudson’s age as 24. Which made the news that she celebrated her 24th birthday on April 3, just this past week, a little bit confusing.

On Thursday, Hudson seemed to confirm her correct age via Instagram when she posted a photo of a bundle of red roses and a Tar Heels jersey with her name, Jordon, and the number 24—presumably, a gift from her beau. (In December, Belichik signed a five-year deal to become the University of North Carolina’s head football coach, hence the UNC jersey.) The Daily Mail was first to note the odd age switcheroo.

While Belichick—who will celebrate his 73rd birthday on April 16—and Hudson are now fully public with their romance, there are some questions about when it actually began.

The two are said to have originally met on a flight from Boston to Florida in 2021, where they reportedly “bonded over a philosophy project the student-athlete had been working on.” They exchanged numbers and kept in touch, and were spotted together in New Orleans in January 2023—when she would have been 21 years old, so just old enough to enjoy a Hurricane at Pat O’Briens—but TMZ reported that Hudson had “quietly supported Belichick at his games at Gillette Stadium throughout the '22 and '23 seasons,” so it seems as if their romance could have started even earlier.

Whatever the reason for aging Hudson up, if it was even intentional, the two seem to be going strong—even with the 49-year age difference. (Rumors have been swirling that the beach yoga-loving couple have recently gotten engaged.)

If you want to put their age gap into further perspective: When Belichick was winning his first Super Bowl as head coach of the Patriots in 2002, Hudson was a 10-month-old baby.
