Jennifer Lopez did not miss her moment on the red carpet of the opening night of George Clooney’s Good Night, and Good Luck play on April 3. He was making his Broadway debut, but the 55-year-old talent made sure all eyes were on her.
The black gown had a plunging V-neckline and a dramatic cape with a long train that took over the red carpet. Her presence at the show made sense — Clooney was her co-star in the 1998 film, Out of Sight, still considered one of Lopez's best movies in her filmography. She also has the movie musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman, coming out this fall — just in time for awards season.

With her divorce from Ben Affleck finalized in February, Lopez has been making the rounds at public events. One of the former couple's issues was her love of the limelight and his disdain for leading a public life.
Affleck broke his silence about his second whirlwind romance with Lopez, telling GQ in late March, "Like I mentioned to you before, there are a lot of people who I think have handled celebrity more adeptly and more adroitly than I have, Jennifer among them. My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers."
While The Accountant 2 star promised that there was "no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue" to their split, their lifestyle differences were on display in her 2024 Amazon Prime documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told. She was willing to put their relationship on full blast, but Affleck did not seem to enjoy the cameras in his face.
"I did really find the beauty and the poetry and the irony in the fact that it's the greatest love story never told, and if you're making a record about it, that seems kind of like telling it," he admitted in the film.
Now, Lopez and Affleck are on separate life paths.
The highly anticipated second season of The Last of Us is less than two weeks away and there's a lot of speculation about how things will play out.
In an interview with Variety, showrunner Craig Mazin said that the series could live on in other ways after the initial story is told.
"For me as a writer and showrunner, this is my ‘Last of Us.’ So this will be the last of my ‘Last of Us,’ covering the events of the first and second game," Mazin told the outlet.
"I think there’s always a world where you could see additional material, like the way ‘House of the Dragon’ has thrived after the conclusion of ‘Game of Thrones.’ And I could certainly see myself being somebody that the people making that show, they pick up the phone and call me and say, ‘How did you do this? Or what do you think about this?’ But it won’t be mine to do. Somebody else will be handling that," he added.
In an interview with People, Mazin said that he's not planning on making up additional story lines to keep the series going.
"Neil and I really are focused on telling the story that's there," Mazin told the outlet in an interview published on March 30. "It will come to an end."
If you are planning on taking a trip to Oregon's Crater Lake, you had better get on it soon.
Crater Lake, which is the deepest lake in the United States, will be restricted from tourist access for an extended period of time, Crater Lake National Park announced this week.
The reason for the shutdown is because Cleetwood Cove Trail, the only legal pathway to the shoreline of Crater Lake, will be closed off due to construction starting next year.
“The park is planning on starting construction in 2026,” Crater Lake National Park said in a press release. “Due to the extent work to be completed and short construction seasons, trail closures will be required and are expected during the duration of the 2027 and 2028 summer seasons.
“During this time, no boat tours will be provided and the trail will be closed due to construction and rockfall hazards. If construction goes as planned, the renovated trail will reopen in summer 2029.”

This summer will mark the last time tourists will have access to Crater Lake for two years .
Martha McCabe, the park's public information officer, told SFGate that visitors will only be able to obtain panoramic views of the lake from its elevated rim or via the air. Park scientists will be the only people able to approach the body of the lake.
Crater Lake was formed more than 7,000 years ago when the ancient volcano Mount Mazama erupted and collapsed, leaving the massive depression.
"That crater gradually collected rain and melting snow, filling the 1,943-foot deep basin and creating the deepest lake in the United States," SF Gate wrote. "Its iconic blue waters are pristine — with no inlets from other water sources, the lake water is free of sediment and light scatters freely in its depths, leaving only clear blues."
Nintendo has shared an update on the highly anticipated Switch 2 console. On April 2, the company confirmed that the new console will be released on June 5 with pre-orders beginning on April 9 on the official Nintendo website.
The Switch 2 will cost $449.99 just for the console. Nintendo also added a bundle option, which will include the latest Mario Kart game "Mario Kart World" and will run gamers $499.99. The company also announced that various Switch accessories — like a pro controller — will also be available for purchase in June.
Fans have had mixed reactions on the price point of the new console, some pointing out that it's the same price as the PS5.
Nintendo shared an extended look at game play for "Mario Kart World" during a stream.
"A brand new entry in the Mario Kart series is launching exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 system. Welcome to this vast world," Nintendo said. "Kart races are held throughout various regions that span the globe. Depending on the time of day and weather conditions, the atmosphere will change."
The Nintendo Switch 2 will have some new features, including brand new Joy-Con 2 controllers. A new button has been added to one of the controllers and is marked with a "C." This is for Game Chat — allowing players to talk with other players during game play. Anyone using the feature will need to have an online membership with Nintendo. However, Nintendo is offering the feature without a membership through March 2026.
The new Nintendo Switch 2 has 256GB of internal storage. The new dock has 4K resolution compatibility, which will make it a breeze when connecting to a television.
Val Kilmer's last cameo came by way of Top Gun: Maverick, when he reprised his role as Tom "Iceman" Kazansky. In the 2022 sequel, Kilmer returns as an Admiral following his promotion from Lieutenant and he finds himself face-to-face with his former on-screen rival, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, played, of course, by Tom Cruise.
The brief, albeit excruciatingly emotional, scene serves as a harsh reminder of the pain Kilmer endured following his throat cancer diagnosis. His vocal chords were damaged following a tracheotomy in 2014, so much so that AI technology was needed to regenerate his voice in his scene with Cruise.
And while most Kilmer fans will forever cherish that scene following his tragic death on Tuesday in Los Angeles at the age of 65, it's worth reminding his most ardent fans that Kilmer had one of the most iconic TV cameos ever when he appeared in season 1 of HBO's Entourage.
The hit show, which aired eight seasons from 2004 to 2011 and was executive produced by Doug Ellin, drew major celebrities from the onset, from Mark Wahlberg, David Faustino and Jessica Alba to Jimmy Kimmel, Luke Wilson, Larry David and Gary Busey. They, like the many celebs that would follow after the series became a hit, played themselves.
Kilmer had two memorable scenes as "The Sherpa" in season 1, episode 5. In the 2004 episode, dubbed "The Script and the Sherpa," Kilmer is unrecognizable in long blonde locks to match his equally long 'stash and beard. He also dons a green beanie, a beige robe and Birkenstocks. He steals the scene from the get-go, first kissing and hugging Fiona (Beau Garrett) before burying his nose in her armpits to breathe in her "ancient wisdom." Following the embrace, Kilmer immediately recognizes Johnny "Drama" (Kevin Dillon) and asks him, "When's the next season of Viking Quest?" The fictional series catapulted "Drama" to early stardom. Unfortunately, it got canceled seven years prior at that point, and "Drama" has been a struggling actor ever since.
"Bummer," Kilmer's character reacts. It's fitting that the Sherpa recognized "Drama," as Kilmer and Dillon co-starred in 1991's The Doors.
The Sherpa's mood immediately changes when he orders his lady friends to pick out some of his organically grown, pesticide-free "herbal supplements," or weed.
In the next scene, the group lounges on a bed of pillows as "Drama," "Turtle" (Jerry Ferrara), Vince (Adrian Grenier), and Eric (Kevin Connolly) are gobsmacked watching the Sherpa take a 25-second long bong rip.
"The Earth is moving. Did you feel that?" the Sherpa then asks the group. "Everything, all the time. The dimensions, we can't even see. Everything is evolving. Turtle, you're a dove."
When E asks the Sherpa if he's afraid of getting busted over his marijuana farm -- or as "Drama" declares, "the Field of f--king Dreams" -- Kilmer's character delivers one of the show's most iconic lines.
"Busted? I'm entrusted. I don't steal. I heal," he explains. "I like getting stoned, getting honed. My probation officer is one of my best customers. I'm a prisoner. I'm a prisoner of war, war on drugs. Sounds so negative man. I mean, the man's most positive, positive-tive is a negative, is a mega negative. Right? Viking quest! Let them be low. We are getting high. We're not getting f--ked down, we're getting f--ked up."
But his nonchalance turns into utter paranoia after E's cell phone rings, prompting the Sherpa to pull out a gun, point it at E and shout, "Don't touch it!" After realizing it's just a cell phone ringing -- and presumably not a ticking time bomb -- the Sherpa reverberates to nonchalance, but not before scanning the room and delivering his final line:
"Hey, anybody need some clean urine?"
Ellin and Stephen Levinson wrote the script to the episode, and Adam Bernstein directed it.
After season 1, the HBO series featured a long list of celebrities who played themselves, including the late Bob Saget, James Cameron, Mandy Moore, Snoop Dogg, Anna Farris, Sydney Pollack, Mary J. Blige, Matt Damon, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and Martin Scorsese.
There's also a long list of celebrities who played fictional characters in the series, including Rainn Wilson, Ken Jeong and Artie Lange, Lisa Rinna, Kevin Pollak, Jeff Garlin, Carrie Fisher, and Bob Odenkirk.
Miller Gardner died after falling ill on vacation with his family in Costa Rica. Although the family still doesn't have an exact cause of death of the 14-year-old, there have been some major updates over the past couple of days.
One of the biggest updates came following a press conference on March 31. Randall Zuniga, director of Costa Rica's Judicial Investigation Department (OIJ), confirmed that Miller's death appears to be accidental — and that there's a new cause of death being investigated.
According to ESPN, authorities are currently looking into possible carbon monoxide poisoning.
Tests performed inside "the room the family was staying" have shown "high emissions of carbon monoxide contamination." Zuniga stressed these were initial findings and said that the results of forensic toxicology are still pending.
The hotel where the Gardner family stayed — the Arenas Del Mar Resort in Manuel Antonio — has released a statement as well.
“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss that recently occurred on our premises due to causes that have not yet been confirmed,” a spokesperson from the report said in a statement to People. “We are diligently cooperating with the Costa Rican judicial authorities, who have taken over the investigation. We trust that the forensic process will objectively, clearly, and conclusively clarify the causes of this unfortunate incident.”
A second update came by way of confirmation that the FBI is involved in the investigation.
"The entire investigation has involved close coordination with the FBI in the United States. And we must now wait for the final results from forensic toxicology to determine exactly what caused the young man’s death," Zuniga said in a statement to Us Weekly.
The third major update in the case also came on March 31 by way of E! News. The outlet confirmed that Miller's body had been returned to his family — five days after he was found dead.
Meanwhile, on March 26, a representative for Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Agency, Juan Pablo Alvarado Garcia, told the Daily Mail that Miller Gardner's autopsy has been delayed to reasons outside of the family's control.
He explained that the autopsy results will take two to three months — at least — due to an uptick in gang violence.
"We’re having a hike in homicides as these drug gangs battle for territory and every one of them needs an autopsy," he told the outlet.
The Gardner family has not released any additional statements after sharing the news of Miller's death.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's June wedding is going to be an expensive affair. With 200 A-list guests expected to descend upon Venice, Italy for a three-day event, rumors about where the ceremony would take place started to make their way around the internet.
The story first started when CNN reported on March 29 that Luca Zuin, a spokesperson for the mayor of Venice, claimed that the Amazon founder would marry his bride on his $500 million superyacht, Koru. The luxury boat would be anchored in the Venice lagoon and the city was prepared to host the celebrities coming in for the weekend, including Kim Kardashian and Orlando Bloom.

Now, the Daily Mail is denying that the superyacht will be used for their wedding day. "The wedding will not take place on Jeff's yacht, that has been ruled out," an insider shared.
While Bezos' team is working with the city to minimize disruptions during a busy summer tourist season, not everyone is happy about the billionaire's presence.
The Guardian spoke to locals who are less than thrilled that the wedding might interfere with their busy travel season.
“It’s going to be a great big nuisance,” a tour guide told the media outlet. “I think most people are of the same opinion. We are exasperated by a whole series of problems related to overtourism and this is the umpteenth thing foisted on the city that we have to suffer. We have no idea what kind of behavior to expect from this lot.”
Bezos and Sánchez's wedding is expected to occur sometime between June 24-26.
