To make huitlacoche empanadas, the woman followed some simple steps. First, she cooked the huitlacoche with salted butter, shallots, and garlic in a pan. Then, she combined it with Chihuahua cheese, onions, and cilantro. Afterwards, she chilled the filling in the fridge before using it to stuff the empanada dough. Once the empanadas were sealed, she deep-fried them. She made sure to capture the moment of the cheese pulling apart on camera.
