Stephen A. Smith Makes Bold Prediction About Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Relationship

Stephen A. Smith is known for his hot takes on controversial topics. And he didn't back down from offering a prediction when it comes to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship.

During an appearance Wednesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the ESPN personality took part in a game where a "Hot Take Generator" spit out a question or subject and he had 20 seconds to answer it. Three questions were involved, but the one that really got him riled up was about the Kansas City Chiefs star and The Tortured Poets Department singer. Smith was asked to opine whether Kelce and Swift will get married in 2025.

The 57-year-old and father of two got so riled up about the topic he accidentally knocked Fallon's microphone off the desk.

"This is a hard one, man," Smith said. "I'm scared to get this wrong. Travis Kelce, that's my dawg. I gotta tell you, a lot of ladies love Travis Kelce. Travis Kelce has loved a lot of ladies. But Taylor Swift is a different animal."

He continued, "She looks good. She's incredibly talented. And she's worth about a billion. We're going to guess a yes on this one. We're gonna get about a yes!"

Smith, a devout Swiftie, also explained why marriage is a no-brainer.

"That's a three-headed monster that's hard to turn down right there, you know what I'm saying?" said Smith about Swift. "That's hard to turn down. Look good? Talented? And you're a billionaire? C'mon!"

Kelce, the three-time Super Bowl champion, and Swift embarked on a whirlwind romance in 2023, and they haven't slowed down since. As for when the romance actually started, that's apparently still up for debate.

Nevertheless, Smith sees the couple tying the knot in the near future. And speaking of the future, the "First Take" host also chimed in on whether he'll be the Democratic nominee for president in 2028.

"The answer's no. Doesn't pay enough!" he said. "I didn't work this hard to get to this point to be broke and stressed with most of America hating me because they don't like something I said or did or whatever."

Smith recently appeared on "The View" and, as is his trademark style, boasted about his chances if he wanted to run for president.

"I mean when it I say it. I think I can beat them all," he said. "And I have no desire whatsoever to run for office, I am not a politician, I am not qualified."
