Kanye West has been posting up a storm on X, formerly Twitter, causing uproar left and right. For example, on Tuesday, March 18, West went off on Diddy's ex, Cassie, accusing her of extortion.
"HOW EVERY [expletive] YOU KNOW HIT A GIRL BEFORE BUT EVERYBODY SO MAD AT PUFF. SO CASSIE AINT EXTORT PUFF?" West wrote. "CASSIE CAME TO PUFF AND SAID GIMME 30 MILLION OR IMA RELEASE A TELL ALL BOOK THATS LOOK LIKE EXTORTION TO ME," he added.
The message appears to have been deleted.
The very next day, Cassie took to her Instagram Stories with a simple reply. She reshared a post from The Shade Room that contained a message from rapper Playboi Carti.
"YE STFU," it read. The two word response is all that Cassie has posted about West's latest online rant.
Cassie, 38, filed a lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs in 2023, claiming that he'd been abusive towards her. The case between the two, who dated from 2007 until 2018, was settled out of court.
West's rant comes after he dropped a new single that features his daughter, North West, and Diddy, who is currently in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. It also comes after West had a phone call with Diddy — and recorded it. The Shade Room shared audio of the call, which West recorded.
“You be careful out there ’cause they definitely trying to end us," Diddy told West. "They can’t do it and they ain’t gonna do it. I’m going to beat this s--t and get next to you," he added.
