The mother of Texas A&M Aggies legend and NFL Draft bust Johnny Manziel has been arrested.

Manziel, 32, played in the NFL for just two seasons after going No. 22 overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. He played sparingly for the Cleveland Browns and, admittedly, did not give football the attention it needed. The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner bounced around in different leagues after falling out of the NFL, including the CFL and AAF, but he hasn't played in three years. He's considered one of the biggest busts in NFL Draft history to this day.

While Manziel has been doing better off of the field, his mother, Michelle, has been arrested on troubling charges.

TMZ Sports reported on Sunday afternoon that Johnny's mom, Michelle Manziel, was arrested in Kerrville, Texas on Saturday night. She was arrested in the Texas town, which is about an hour outside of San Antonio.

The Manziels are from Texas.

Michelle Manziel was reportedly arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to TMZ Sports.

"We've obtained Michelle's mug shot ... no smile, but she does have a look on her face that seems almost shocked to be in the situation," TMZ Sports shared.

The mother of the Texas A&M Aggies legend was reportedly being held on $7,500 bail. She appears to have paid her bail and been released back into the public. The Manziels have reportedly been living in the Texas town for several years now.

Johnny Manziel, meanwhile, has been very open about his substance abuse issues. He opened up about his struggles in the Netflix documentary “Untold: Johnny Football."

“I had planned to do everything I wanted to do at that point in my life, spend as much money as I possibly could and then my plan was to take my life,” Manziel said of his struggles. “I wanted to get as bad as humanly possible to where it made sense, and it made it seem like an excuse and an out for me.”

His father, Paul, admitted that it was tough to see his son struggle.

"It’s been a long, long road, and I don’t know if it’s been great or if it’s been bad – that’s kind of still up for debate,” Paul said in the documentary. “But we’re blessed. And he’s still with us. And we can mend all the fences still. I think Johnny’s got a lot better days coming than what he’s had.”

It's good to see that Johnny is doing better now, though it has to be tough for him to see his mom struggle.
