Anna Kendrick's Dismissive 3-Word Response to Blake Lively Question

Anna Kendrick seemed to subtly shade actress Blake Lively on the red carpet.

The actress was caught on video giving a dismissive three-word response to a question about Lively, who is embroiled in a contentious lawsuit with Justin Baldoni.

Kendrick was hit with the question while attending the March 7 SXSW premiere of the new movie "Another Simple Favor." The movie, which co-stars Kendrick and Lively, is a sequel to the hit "A Simple Favor."

"Anna, what does it mean to be working with Blake again?" an interviewer asked as Kendrick walked down the red carpet.

"Oh, you know," Kendrick said, with a noticeable grimace as she continued walking past the questioner.

In contrast, Lively offered a warmer response when she was asked at the same premiere what it was like to work with Kendrick.

"Oh, it's the best," a smiling Lively said, video shows. "I'm so happy."

TMZ noted that Kendrick and Lively were seen "talking together earlier in the day" for interviews with media.

Lively also opened up about the sequel.

“It was uncomfortable to watch in this theater," Lively said at the premiere, according to Deadline.

In the sequel, the characters of Lively and Kendrick reunite for Emily's wedding in Capri, Italy. The movie is coming in 2025 on Amazon Prime.

"Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman," the Amazon Prime blurb says. "Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square."
