Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper Among 2024 Oscar Nominees With Highest Net Worths

The Oscars are almost here, and some of this year's nominees are sporting quite a few assets. GamblingFactory.com put together a list of the 2024 Oscar nominees who boast the highest net worths. To determine their results, they tabulated the actors’ assets and investments, as well as looked at their earnings from the nominated films. They also looked at the actors' enduring popularity over the years by analyzing social media followings and search engine results.

Robert De Niro, nominated for his supporting performance in Killers of the Flower Moon, took top honors by a country mile. De Niro’s estimated net worth is an astonishing $500 million. That includes earnings from his extensive acting career, in addition to his real estate holdings and business investments, including TriBeCa Productions, The Greenwich Hotel, and the Tribeca Grill.

Oppenheimer nominee Robert Downey Jr. took second place with an estimated $300 million net worth. That’s aided in large part by his record-breaking Marvel paydays, but much like De Niro, Downey has a number of other business interests outside of acting. Along with his wife, Susan Downey, he heads production studio Team Downey.

Maestro star and director Bradley Cooper trailed De Niro and Downey with an estimated net worth of $120 million. Jodie Foster came in at number four, with $100 million. Downey’s Oppenheimer co-star Emily Blunt rounded out the top five, with $80 million.

Annette Bening (Nyad), Ryan Gosling (Barbie), Poor Things castmates Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo, and Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers) finished off the list.

Part of Gosling's total worth includes a whopping estimated $12.5 million he earned from Barbie. Many of the other stars' earnings from their nominated films aren't listed, but it does reveal that Ruffalo and Stone's net worths weren't greatly impacted by their Poor Things payday. They earned in the low-to-mid six figures for their participation.

“Looking at the wealth and career choices of Oscar nominees can give valuable tips for long-term betting or investment in films,” a GamblingFactory.com spokesperson said in a statement. “These stars often pick roles that win awards and bring in big money, making their projects good bets.”

Emily Blunt is the only first-time Oscar nominee included on the list. Many have been recognized numerous times at the ceremony. De Niro has been nominated nine times and won twice; Cooper has 10 nominations under his belt, including three for Maestro, without any wins so far; Nyad marks Foster’s fifth Oscar nomination, but her first in 29 years. She’s won twice before, for The Accused (1989) and Silence of the Lambs (1992). Bening is also on her fifth nomination, but without any wins.

Nominees Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer), Carey Mulligan (Maestro), and America Ferrera (Barbie) didn’t make the top 10.
