When you look good, you feel good, unless the weather is terrible. Between the icy slush and rainy days, it's hard to feel completely confident in your outfit, especially footwear, if it's not specifically designed to stand up to water. But Cole Haan is a true champion of weatherized shoes, and recently, it marked down one of its most iconic business casual styles by nearly $150—and they're starting to sell out.

The Cole Haan Zerogrand Waterproof Wingtip Oxford is on sale right now for as low as $80—an astounding 65% off the full price of $228. These shoes have earned over 360 five-star reviews from shoppers who say they're the key to staying dry and maintaining a fresh look in the winter.

These sneaker-bottom dress shoes feature laser-printed wingtip details in favor of the open-hole broguing of the traditional Zerogrand. The upper is made with a seam-sealed waterproof leather or nubuck material that's been locked onto the sole with a storm welt to prevent any seepage. Underneath is where the magic happens. The cushioned midsole and durable outsole are both made with a shock-absorbent foam that helps keep feet happy during long periods of standing, walking, and putting up with coworkers. While the sole does feature the iconic horizontal cuts, this model adds better traction with rubber inlays on the heel and toe. It's probably best to not puddle-jump in these—save that for rain boots—but they do make a solid option for wet-weather work days.

The Zerogrand shoe undeniably put Cole Haan back on the map as a go-to men's footwear brand in an uncertain time for the company. Nike sold the brand in 2012 after launching a similar sneaker-bottom style that piqued the interest of men who were fed up with uncomfortable dress shoes. The release of the Zerogrand was a follow-up and exponential improvement on that design. Now 10 years later, it's still relied on by hard-working men in a myriad of professions.

Shoppers have given the waterproof Zerogrand shoe resounding kudos for its familiar comfort despite the added material, its versatile style, and its foolproof performance, with one shopper going as far as calling it the "perfect winter shoe."

"These shoes are excellent," a shopper said. "They look just funky enough to be different and cool without going over the top. Wore them to court today and in the rain recently to test their waterproofness—kept me very dry."

One shopper even made it a point to say how they saved him from missing a flight. "Most comfortable dress/casual shoe out there," they began. "Most recently, I had to catch my flight at the busiest airport in the US. I was wearing my wingtip Zerogrands and literally was sprinting through the airport. I made the flight and couldn't have done it without the lightweight and comfortable Zerogrand."

Right now is a great opportunity to get the waterproof Cole Haan Zerogrand for under $100, a sensationally low price. They are starting to sell out, though. So, if you're sick of ruining good dress shoes during the winter (and rainy spring) or just want a comfortable option when the weather may be unpredictable, grab a pair of these before they're gone for the year.
