Netflix Opening a Restaurant Based on Its Hit Cooking Shows

Over the past decade, Netflix has brought viewers from around the world into the kitchen with hit shows like Chef's Table, Nailed It!, and Is It Cake? Its latest venture aims to bring dishes inspired by those hit series through the screen and into your mouth.

The streaming giant announced this week that its first-ever restaurant is coming to Los Angeles on June 30. Netflix Bites is "an elevated dining experience" that features the work of several well-known chefs seen on their beloved cooking shows.

Among these culinary visionaries are Andrew Zimmern, Dominique Crenn, and Ming Tsai from Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend; Rodney Scott and Ann Kim from Chef's Table; Nadiya Hussain from Nadiya Bakes and The Great British Baking Show; and Jacques Torres from Nailed It! To wash down the delicious food, visitors can try different craft cocktails created by mixologists from Drink Masters like Frankie Solarik, Julie Reiner, LP O'Brien, and Kate German.

Stone, a Michelin-starred chef, was thrilled about the opportunity to use his skills in a new way. "Bringing my love of food to people across the world is one of the biggest thrills of my life, but this screen-to-table experience of giving fans a taste of what happens on camera is just awesome," he gushed in a statement. "The talented chefs and mixologists assembled means there is something for everyone, and I’m wildly excited that my team at Curtis Stone Events is involved in bringing Netflix Bites to life."

Josh Simon, Netflix's VP of consumer products, echoed a similar sentiment. "From episode to entrée, with Netflix Bites we are creating an in-person experience where fans can immerse themselves in their favorite food shows," he said. "We are excited to collaborate with these incredible chefs who will bring this vision to life and showcase an array of their delicious menus."

Fans in Los Angeles can visit Netflix Bites at the Short Stories Hotel starting June 30 for a limited time. The pop-up will be open for dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. seven days a week. In addition, guests can sample a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Book your reservation today at NetflixBites.com
