Kobe Bryant's Final Game Jacket Hits Auction. Here's How Much It Costs

Kobe Bryant was beloved by millions throughout his time in the NBA. He spent his entire 20-year career in the league with the Los Angeles Lakers, playing alongside other basketball stars like Shaquille O'Neal, Metta Sandiford-Artest, and Lamar Odom. Bryant became synonymous with the iconic yellow team uniforms, and now, one of those pieces of clothing can be yours—provided you can cough up the cash for it.

Like other basketball players, Bryant usually wore a warm-up jacket while on the court preparing for games to start. Now, the warm-up jacket he wore before his final game is for sale with SCP Auctions. The current bidding price sits at $55,000, but that number is expected to climb before the auction closes Aug. 3.

It was, as deemed at the time, a "Hollywood ending" to Bryant's incredible career. Black Mamba scored a total of 60 points in his final game on April 13, 2016, bringing the team back from behind against the Utah Jazz and putting the perfect cherry on top of his illustrious two-decade career.

According to TMZ, the jacket was worn by Bryant several times before his last game. The piece has been photo-verified to ensure it's the real thing and features various patches marking major moments in Lakers history such as the team's founding in 1948 and their many NBA titles collected over the years.

SCP's president David Kohler told the publication to expect it to sell for approximately $500,000 by the end of the auction. And it's not the only piece of Bryant memorabilia currently for sale; you can buy pairs of Bryant's game-worn and signed Nike sneakers or a signed photo of Bryant and Michael Jordan

Get your finances in order and bids in before the auction ends Aug. 3 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
