The popularity of Hoka running shoes has skyrocketed in the last few years with shoppers leaning into more lightweight running styles that use foam technology in the sole. Because they’re in such high demand, the brand doesn’t often mark its shoes on sale. But just two weeks ago, Men's Journal found that one of the top styles for men had got a rare discount with more than 10 colors to choose from—and there are still some sizes up for grabs.
The Hoka Arahi 6 men’s running shoes are still on sale for as low as $112—a 20% discount off the original price of $140. This style is the No. 1 bestselling Hoka running shoe for men at Zappos with more than 1,200 five-star reviews.

The Hoka Arahi 6 is what the brand calls a stability shoe with balanced cushioning. This means it’s a style that uses Hoka’s J-Frame technology to prevent overpronation and employs a medium amount of cushion in the midsole (according to Hoka’s very cushioned standards) for a do-it-all running experience. With its breathable mesh upper, OrthoLite sockliner, lightweight EVA foam midsole, and rubber outsole, the Arahi 6 weighs just over nine ounces.
Many have been gravitating toward Hoka instead of or in addition to their regular Saucony or Asics for several reasons. Not only does most of the Hoka lineup look cool, boasting tons of exciting colors that even brands like Nike won’t frequently offer, but most of its styles, including the Arahi 6, have been recognized by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) as products that promote foot health.

Shoppers are calling the Arahi 6 one of their favorite stability shoes, with some finding it at the request of their doctors. “My podiatrist recommended Hokas after I was diagnosed with a heel spur and plantar fasciitis,” one shopper said. “They are extremely comfortable, supportive, and lightweight. I can walk again in these without experiencing foot pain! The insoles are removable so one can replace them with a more supportive orthotic insole if needed.”
Others have opted for the Arahi 6 as their go-to work shoes. “I'm a mailman and honestly these were a great investment, worth every dollar,” another shopper said. “My feet would kill me after a long day of work with what I was currently wearing but ever since I got these they definitely help get me through my day.”
Hoka shoes seldom go on sale, which is why even a 20% discount makes such a difference. If you’ve been thinking about trying Hoka for the first time or want to step into another pair, the Arahi 6 is a fantastic option. Many sizes have sold out in the last two weeks, as we had anticipated, but some are still available, so hop on this deal soon if you think the Arahi 6 is right for you.
