Man Arrested After Father's Decapitated Head Seen in YouTube Video

A Pennsylvania man who was an apparent QAnon believer was arrested on Tuesday night after allegedly killing his father and decapitating the man's body. He then waved his father's head around in a YouTube video manifesto in which he railed against the United States government, among other grievances.

Justin Mohn, 33, has been charged with first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and possessing an instrument of crime with intent after police found the dismembered body of his 68-year-old father, Michael Mohn. Officers responded to a 911 call placed by the victim's wife around 7 p.m. from the couple's Middletown Township, Bucks County home, according to 6 ABC News, after she arrived home to find her husband beheaded and covered in blood.

At the scene, officers discovered the victim's body in a bathroom on the first floor, along with a machete and a large kitchen knife left in the bathtub. A police affidavit stated that his head had been placed in a plastic bag inside a cooking pot, which was found in a first floor bedroom. Officers also located bloody rubber gloves in a bedroom on the second floor.

Though Mohn initially fled the scene, he was later picked up about 100 miles away near a National Guard training facility in Harrisburg, PA.

In the 14-minute YouTube video titled "Mohn's Militia—Call to Arms for American Patriots," which was quickly removed from the platform, Mohn was seen holding his father's decapitated head inside the plastic bag and identifying him by name. The head was also seen stewing inside the pot in another part of the video, which was posted around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Reading from a written manifesto on his computer screen, Mohn claimed to be a commander of America’s network of militias, ranting against migrants, the Biden administration, the LGBTQIA community, the Black Lives Matter movement, and "far-left woke mobs."

"He is now in hell for an eternity as a traitor to his country," he said of his father. Mohn also called for the killing of other federal officials, including FBI agents, IRS employees, U.S. Marshals, federal judges, and border control officers "for betraying their country," per the New York Post.

Before the killing, Mohn had previously filed at least three lawsuits against various federal agencies over his student loan debt. Court filings state that in at least one of the lawsuits Mohn argued that he had "negligently and fraudulently" been coerced to take out loans for his Penn State University education, which he then couldn't to pay back as a result of being "unable to secure a job commensurate with his education."

Mohn graduated in 2014 with a degree in agribusiness management, and was later apparently forced to move back into his parent’s home due to his lack of employment.

"As far as the crime itself, it's not something we typically see here," Middletown Township Police Captain Pete Feeney said of the gruesome incident.
