Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes turned 29 on Sept. 17, and the Super Bowl MVP has been showered with love from his teammates and friends. Travis Kelce in particular gave him quite an unforgettable gift.
Mahomes made a birthday appearance on radio show The Drive on Sept. 17 and spoke about how he and his loved ones celebrated over the weekend. When asked what he got for his special day, he confessed at the time that his wife Brittany Mahomes hadn't give him his gift yet. "I haven't got my present from Brittany just yet, but she said it's gonna be cool. So I'm excited for that," he said.
Kelce, however, wasted no time in marking the occasion. "Travis got me a Louis Vuitton golf bag," Mahomes revealed. He acknowledged, however, that it might not be the most practical for real-life use. "I don't know how much I can use that on the golf course, but it will be nice to have," he confessed.
Mahomes didn't specify which bag Kelce bought him, but the options don't run cheap. Louis Vuitton golf bags sell from anywhere between $22,600 and $31,500 depending on size and material.
The three-time Super Bowl champ is no stranger to Louis Vuitton, especially in recent days. On Sept. 15, Mahomes showed up to Arrowhead Stadium wearing head-to-toe LV, pairing a white T-shirt sporting the iconic LV monogram design with the beige denim Damier workwear pants.
After designing the Olympic medal cases for the 2024 Games in Paris, perhaps Louis Vuitton could team up with the NFL next.
