An innovative home chef astonished the Reddit community with an ingenious flavor mash-up featuring a beef patty, slice of cheese, and a pair of the lunch-box staple, Uncrustables.
“I just made a burger with Uncrustables as buns,” u/jillieboobean posted on the r/burgers subReddit. In the body of the post were two pictures showing, as promised, a cheeseburger sandwiched between two toasted Uncrustables. Another photo showed the invention cut down the middle, with jelly and peanut butter oozing into the beef patty.

The sandwich was unsurprisingly divisive amongst commenters, but everyone agreed they wanted to raid the original poster’s stash. "The weed you smoked that made u come up with this must be majestic,” one user wrote. “Oh I know high activities when I see them,” another commended. “Good job.”
Others began to offer their own flavor innovations. “All you’re missing is bacon and a banana,” one Reditor offered.
“You burnt the Uncrustables,” a fellow inspired user helpfully pointed out. “What you want to do next time is lightly butter them and air fry for just a few minutes. You can also coat them with cinnamon sugar when you butter them.”
“One time I cut open an egg roll and made it into a bun and put a hot dog inside and topped it with that Chinese mustard,” another amateur chef shared. “I respect your stoner engineering. It’s art, really. The truest, most joyful expression of the human spirit.”
One particularly helpful user dropped an idea that’s sure to become everyone’s next favorite experiment. “Ya know what, this would probably be great as a breakfast sandwich using a sausage patty,” yet another user offered. “I'm sure that would also be f--king delicious,” u/jillieboobean agreed. “I'll let you know.”
