Installing a light used to require a fair amount of carpentry and electrical work, but that was before the current wave of easily mountable, rechargeable indoor lights hit the market. Right now, during the massive Walmart Deals event, you can grab a convenient pair of wall sconces on sale for less than half of what they’d normally run you.
The Volivo Wireless Rechargeable Wall Sconces are on sale for $37 at Walmart, 54% off their normal $80 price tag. This price is good on the versions of this light with and without RGB (colorful) lighting, both of which are capable of providing non-colored light at various color temperatures.
The light itself is easily mounted with a couple of screws, and looks at first glance like a normal sconce. The main difference is that each of these light bulbs has a 2,200-mAh battery, no wiring necessary. That battery takes 3 to 4 hours to charge via USB-C and can provide light for up to 24 hours. Using the on-light button or the included remote control, you can choose between different colors, color temperatures (from 3,000 to 6,000K), color change modes (flash, strobe, fade, and smooth), and 10 brightness levels as desired. There’s also a built-in sleep timer that allows you to choose an automatic shutdown in 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours.

One shopper wrote that these “stylish, functional, and easy to use” sconces “look much more expensive than they actually are and add such an elegant touch to the room.” They added that “you can install them almost anywhere” because they don’t require wiring, and “the rechargeable bulbs provide plenty of light.”
Another customer wrote that “it’s easy to adjust the lighting depending on the mood or the room” and “the remote control makes changing the settings even more convenient.” These lights “are lightweight and easy to install,” and they look like “professionally hardwired wall lighting” once mounted.
