Country music star Riley Green shared a update to TikTok on Monday informing fans that he was on the mend after he “impaled” himself in a gruesome DIY accident.
"At the emergency room ’cause I stepped on a nail [and] impaled my foot," Green said. He can be seen wearing a work boot on his uninjured foot while a friend looks on in the background. “When I took my boot off, corn fell all over the floor," the Worst Way singer laughed. "The [nurse] came in here wanting to know where all the corn came from. It’s from my boot. You don’t want me to take this other one off, either. It's real-world problems."
It’s unclear how he injured himself or what the extent of the malady is, but apparently it wasn’t terribly serious. In a follow-up video, Green asks the nurse when he can return to his favorite hobby—game hunting. "Just hit us with it straight, doc," he said in the clip. "Oh, you can go right back hunting," the nurse chirped back.
Green didn’t waste any time getting back into the game. Within hours of leaving the hospital, Green shared several Instagram Stories of himself outdoors hunting in 16 degree temperatures. “Something might be wrong with me,” the musician captioned the first video of himself wading through thick snow was caption. But with the second video, Green was feeling himself again. “What sore foot?” he facetiously wrote on the video.
