Greg Biffle Is a Married Former NASCAR Driver With 2 Kids

NASCAR legend Greg Biffle is in the news Thursday for a shocking and unfortunate reason. A private jet reportedly owned by the former driver crashed at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina this morning. Five people were killed, per the Statesville Record & Landmark.

While there has been no official confirmation yet that Biffle or any of his family were on board, there is plenty of concern for the 56-year-old Vancouver, Washington native following this morning's accident.

Greg Biffle enjoyed a stellar NASCAR career

Biffle made his NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series debut in 1996 and premiered in the Craftsman Truck Series two years later. He was named Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year in 1998 and won the championship on the circuit in 2000.

Biffle also won Rookie of the Year in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2001. The following year, he was the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series champion and made the leap to the NASCAR Cup Series.

In 16 Cup Series seasons, Biffle posted 19 wins and 175 top 10 finishes in 515 races. His best overall finish was second place in 2005.

Biffle, who last competed in the Craftsman Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2020, was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023. He's one of only 36 drivers to win a race in each of NASCAR's three national series.

Greg Biffle has a wife, two children

Biffle was married to the former Nicole Lunders from 2007 until 2016. The couple had one child, a daughter Emma Elizabeth, born in 2010.

In 2020, Biffle's fiancé Cristina Grossu gave birth to a son, Ryder Jack. Biffle and Grossu were later married in the Bahamas in 2023.

Biffle regularly shares content featuring his children on his social media accounts.

In September, he and his wife celebrated their son's fifth birthday, posing for a picture that Biffle posted online.

Biffle also owns Triple B Ranch

Over two decades ago, Biffle created Triple B Ranch, a resort hotel in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. You can learn more about the property here.
