Each battery takes a mere 45 minutes to charge fully and it's even equipped with controls that prevent the unit from overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. Makita makes an effort to warn against using non-genuine batteries with its products for compatibility reasons, but those who have purchased this set have attested that it's legitimate.
