Elastic cuffs and a dual-drawcord hem help you cinch down the jacket for a snug fit that blocks cold breezes, and two zippered hand warmer pockets and an interior zippered pocket keep your essentials secure. The interior pocket also doubles as a stuff sack, so you can pack down this jacket and throw it in a backpack or suitcase when traveling.

Reviewers have been thrilled with the Nano Puff's stellar performance and go-anywhere versatility. "Phenomenal—the perfect everyday jacket," a shopper said. "I have lived in the Pacific Northwest and Texas, and this jacket is my go-to for basically every occasion. It keeps me warm enough in the fall and spring days, and it's easy to layer during winter. Mikolo’s thick steel frame can support up to 800 pounds, and the foam pads and rollers make it comfortable to use—even when you’re really pushing your limits.

It might be hard to imagine getting a quality piece of gym equipment for such a low price, but Walmart shoppers say the Mikolo weight bench isn’t a dud—it’s well-made and really works. One shopper said it's "fantastic," noting that it's “simple to use and versatile for exercises. Causes of Death Revealed for Engaged Tourists Found Dead in Vietnam

Authorities have released the causes of death for two tourists found dead last month in Vietnam.

On Dec. 26, Greta Marie Otteson, a 33-year-old British native, and her fiancé, 36-year-old Arno Quinton Els of South Africa were found deceased in separate rooms in their Hội An Silverbell villa in the tourist district of Hội An. Reports state that the couple moved to the area in Feb. 2024 and took out a lease on the expansive nine-bedroom home in July. They were engaged only three weeks before their deaths, and in the interim were seen hosting a succession of guests on the property. The Guardian reported that several bottles of alcohol were found at the scene, but "initial findings showed no signs of scratches or external force on the bodies."

Now, Vietnamese authorities have confirmed the couple's cause of death, putting an end to the mystery. It was determined that Otteson and Els died from methanol poisoning after consuming contaminated alcohol in "homemade" limoncellos they procured from a local restaurant on Dec. 24. The Times reported that Otteson phoned her mother on Christmas Day, telling her she had “the worst hangover ever” and was seeing “black spots,” but she and Els were going to “sleep it off.”

“A local bar owner and a fantastic friend called over and wanted to take them to hospital, but they refused,” an anonymous source told the outlet. “Sadly I think it was too late by then,” they added. “Police forensics established the limoncello, which had been delivered [to the villa], was the source.”

Related: 7 Days in Vietnam: A Slightly Insane Travel Itinerary

Otteson’s parents, Susan and Paul, flew to Vietnam for the couple’s cremations earlier this month and have since returned to the U.K. They released a statement confirming the autopsy results and vowing to bring justice to those responsible.

“The Vietnamese police have now confirmed that the cause of death was methanol poisoning, as verified by the autopsy results,” it began. “Both Greta and Arno were experienced worldwide travelers. They found their perfect home and were incredibly happy with their life in Vietnam, planning for the future. They were a loving couple with their life ahead of them. The tributes we have had from around the world are unbelievable. Our aim is to bring the people who supplied the alcohol and killed Greta and Arno to justice."

The business which authorities believe supplied the tainted alcohol has not been named, but sources report that it’s still in operation and no arrests have been made to date.

How Much Water Should Pregnant Women Drink? Heres What Expert Says

Proper hydration is crucial for everyone, but it becomes even more important during pregnancy. Water plays a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of both the mother and the developing baby. From supporting increased blood volume to aiding in digestion and nutrient absorption, staying adequately hydrated is key to a healthy pregnancy. Here's a comprehensive guide on the importance of hydration and tips for pregnant women to ensure they're getting enough fluids.

Also ReadHydration Simplified: How Much Water To Drink and When For A Healthier You

Latest and Breaking News on NDTV

Why Hydration Matters During Pregnancy

  • Supports Increased Blood Volume: During pregnancy, a woman's blood volume increases by about 50%. Water is essential for producing this additional blood, which helps supply oxygen and nutrients to the baby.

  • Aids in Digestion and Nutrient Absorption: Proper hydration helps maintain a healthy digestive system, preventing common pregnancy issues like constipation and hemorrhoids. It also aids in the absorption of essential nutrients from food.

  • Prevents Dehydration: Dehydration can lead to serious complications such as urinary tract infections, premature labor, and low amniotic fluid levels. Ensuring adequate fluid intake helps prevent these risks.

  • Regulates Body Temperature: Pregnant women may feel warmer than usual due to hormonal changes. Staying hydrated helps regulate body temperature and prevents overheating.

  • Reduces Swelling: While some swelling is normal during pregnancy, proper hydration can help minimize excessive swelling (edema) in the hands, feet, and ankles.

The general recommendation is for pregnant women to drink at least 8-12 cups (64-96 ounces) of water per day. However, individual needs may vary based on factors such as activity level, climate, and overall health. Thirst is a good indicator that your body needs more fluids. Drink water whenever you feel thirsty and pay attention to signs of dehydration, such as dark yellow urine, dry mouth, or dizziness.

Also Read8 Hydration Hacks For Busy People: Drink Smarter, Feel Better

Tips for Staying Hydrated

  • Carry a Water Bottle: Keep a reusable water bottle with you at all times. This makes it easy to sip water throughout the day, whether you're at work, running errands, or relaxing at home.

  • Infuse Your Water: If plain water feels monotonous, add a splash of flavor by infusing it with fresh fruits, herbs, or a slice of lemon or cucumber. This can make drinking water more enjoyable.

  • Set Reminders: Use phone alarms or apps to remind you to drink water regularly. This can be particularly helpful if you're busy and tend to forget to hydrate.

  • Eat Hydrating Foods: Include foods with high water content in your diet, such as fruits (watermelon, oranges, strawberries) and vegetables (cucumbers, lettuce, celery).

  • Monitor Fluid Intake: Keep track of your daily water consumption. This can help ensure you're meeting your hydration goals and allow you to make adjustments as needed.

  • Stay Hydrated During Exercise: If you're exercising during pregnancy, it's crucial to drink extra water to compensate for the fluids lost through sweat.

Not Just Water

  • Herbal Teas: Non-caffeinated herbal teas can be a soothing and hydrating alternative to water. However, consult your healthcare provider before trying new teas, as some herbs may not be safe during pregnancy.

  • Milk and Juice: Low-fat milk and 100% fruit juices can contribute to your daily fluid intake. Be mindful of added sugars in juices and opt for freshly squeezed or diluted versions when possible.

  • Soups and Broths: Including soups and broths in your diet can provide additional fluids, especially if you're struggling to drink enough water.

Signs of Dehydration and When to Seek Help

If your urine is dark yellow or your mouth is dry, drink water. If you feel lightheaded, dizzy, or very fatigued, you may be dehydrated. Decreased urine output is a sure sign of dehydration. However, if you experience severe dehydration symptoms, such as rapid heartbeat, confusion, fainting, or persistent vomiting, seek medical attention immediately.

Staying properly hydrated is a simple yet powerful way to support a healthy pregnancy. By following these guidelines and listening to your body's needs, you can ensure that both you and your baby stay well-hydrated and healthy throughout this special time.

Elijah Craig Has Released Its First Barrel-Proof Bourbon of 2025. Here's My Honest Review

I write about whiskey for a living, so that means that I have to taste a lot of it—in moderation, of course. Generally speaking, I don’t really gravitate towards bourbon. rye, or any other type of whiskey that's bottled at the minimum required 80 proof, 40 percent ABV. It’s just a bit too thin, watered down, and lacking in flavor for my palate.

On the other end of the spectrum, you have barrel-proof or cask-strength whiskey. Those terms mean that the whiskey hasn't been diluted with water before bottling to cut it down to proof. Legally, however, it can fall within two degrees of the strength it came out of the barrel.

I don’t always want to drink this style of whiskey either, however, because ABVs have skyrocketed as brands lean into releasing extremely high-proof whiskeys. Sometimes, distilleries even enter hazmat territory—above 140 proof—that's banned from being brought onboard airplanes by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Of course, there are some excellent barrel-proof bourbons out there that fall into the sweet spot in terms of strength–high proof, bold, and assertive, but nothing that will set your tongue on fire or melt your soft palate. Elijah Craig is one of those, a bourbon produced at Kentucky’s Heaven Hill Distillery.

Want the latest whiskey news, deals, and reviews? Sign up for the Whiskey Wednesday newsletter.

Regular Elijah Craig is known as a dependable and relatively affordable bourbon, aged between eight and 12 years and bottled at 94 proof. The barrel-proof version, however, comes out in batches three times per year with different proofs and ages. It used to have a 12-year age statement but switched to varying ages in 2023.

The latest batch is A125, a code that refers to it being batch A released in January of 2025. This bourbon clocks in at 118.2 proof, which is relatively low as far as this particular brand is concerned.

A quick look at the Heaven Hill website shows that the proof over the past few years generally sits in the mid-120s with a few outliers soaring above 130. The last time the proof was this low was back in May 2021.

A125 is ten years and seven months old, which might be younger than the age statement that this whiskey used to carry, but is still an impressive amount of time for Kentucky bourbon to spend in barrels.

A125 is an excellent batch of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. There are notes of toasted nuts and dark chocolate on the nose, followed by flavors of oak, leather, tobacco, vanilla, caramel, honey, and a surprising but welcome burst of dark berries and stone fruit on the palate.

Inside an Elijah Craig rickhouse.

Courtesy Image

At 118.2 proof, you should expect some heat as you sip, but it’s not at all overpowering and fades into a warming finish. Add some water if you like, or try drinking this bourbon over a large ice cube to slowly dilute it as you sip. Go ahead and try it in an old fashioned as well. I did, and it worked very well.

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof A125 would be a great introduction to the world of barrel-proof bourbon for the unfamiliar. But it’s also a classic example of how good this category can be that seasoned whiskey fans will enjoy. You can find the new Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon, MSRP $70, at specialty retailers and websites now.

Why Timothee Chalamet's 3 'SNL' Bob Dylan Songs Aren't in the Movie

On January 25, 2025, Timothee Chalamet entered into the rare category of Saturday Night Live host, who has also served as the musical guest. But, for those who were expecting the actor to perform famous Bob Dylan songs such as "Like a Rolling Stone" —which Chalamet recreated in the biopic A Complete Unknown— he did something nobody saw coming.

Rather than playing a few of Dylan's greatest hits as a kind of advertisement for his heavily Oscar-nominated movie, Timothee Chalamet busted out some Bob Dylan deep-cuts. And on top of that, he didn't even bother trying to do his impressive Dylan impersonation from Complete Unknown. For these performances, Chalamet sang in his own voice. Here's a quick guide to three-ish Bob Dylan songs he performed.

"Outlaw Blues"

Chalamet's first Dylan selection "Outlaw Blues," is a 1965 track taken from the album Bringing It All Back Home. Chronologically, this album overlaps with the timeline of A Complete Unknown, as it also includes songs like "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Maggie's Farm." But, "Outlaw Blues" isn't as well known as those tracks, and despite its correct placement in the Dylan timeline, it's not in the movie. Why did Chalamet start with this song? Well, according to him, "You might not know the Bob Dylan songs I’m performing, but they’re my personal favorites."

"Three Angels"

Chalamet created a kind of melody with "Outlaw Blues," and fused it with "Three Angels," a song from the 1970 Bob Dylan album New Morning. This puts the song well beyond the time frame of A Complete Unknown, demonstrating that Chalamet's Dylan fandom is apparently legit. (

Over on Reddit, Bob Dylan fans are largely praising Chalamet for this selection. And, most are heaping praise on him for not trying to emulate what he did in the movie. This, more than anything is probably why he chose these songs. Anything else would have looked like a stunt.

"Tomorrow is a Long Time"

The last Bob Dylan song Timothee Chalamet performed on SNL was the slightly more well-known track "Tomorrow is a Long Time."

While released in 1971 on Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. II, this song was recorded twice; once in 1962 as a demo, and again, live in 1963 during a concert at Town Hall in New York. So, despite the 1971 release date, the origins of the song do overlap with the younger Dylan that Chalamet played in A Complete Unknown. But, because he didn't try to do the Dylan voice on SNL, this performance didn't scan as a deleted scene or anything. Instead, Chalamet gave us his tribute to Dylan, separate and apart from his performance as Dylan. These versions were designed to exist in 2025, not the 1960s or 1970s.

Are these the greatest versions of these songs ever? Maybe not. But in reminding the world of these deep cuts, Chalamet has brought attention to some great Dylan moments, and at least one full album, New Morning, that we could all stand to listen to again.

A Complete Unknown is still in theaters. No streaming date has been announced yet. SNL streams on Peacock.

Beyond the Classic: How Modern Bars Are Revolutionizing Cocktail Culture

In recent years, the world of cocktails has experienced a remarkable evolution. Once dominated by timeless classics like the Martini, Old Fashioned, and Mojito, the cocktail scene has become a playground for creativity, where mixologists push the boundaries of flavour, technique, ingredients and presentation. Innovative cocktails are no longer just a passing trend, they are a defining movement that is reshaping the entire beverage landscape. While cocktail innovation isn't new, it has reached new heights recently. Bartenders have long experimented with spirits, mixers, and flavours, but today's approach has been elevated to an art form. The global rise of craft cocktail bars, the emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, and the growing influence of food culture on beverage programs have all contributed to the demand for more imaginative, complex drinks.

Today's drinkers are no longer content with just a drink, they crave an experience. They seek a story in every sip, an adventure for their taste buds, and a cocktail that surprises and delights at every turn.

Here Are Must-Visit Spots To Have An Incredible Experience:

They excel in clarified cocktails and are also conscious of using no sugar in their cocktails. The highlights of their menu are Cappuccino - an Irish whiskey-based cocktail with cold brew coffee, hazelnut & cookie syrup and lime juice, Painkiller - a coconut white rum-based drink with aperol, pineapple vinegar and mango syrup, Picante - featuring tequila, pineapple shrub, jalapeno and kaffir lime and Guava - blending kaffir lime infused gin with lychee syrup and guava jelly. Viral: Paris Cafe Invents 'Closed Burger' To Prevent Dripping Sauces Or Falling Ingredients

Who can say no to burgers? Juicy patties loaded with cheese and mayonnaise between fluffy buns make for a yummy treat. Isn't it? But are you someone who can't ignore the messy part? Well, fret not. A restaurant in Paris found the perfect solution for it. They began preparing sealed burgers, leaving no chance of the dripping sauce. A content creator named Rihards Urbens recently posted a video on Instagram featuring the cooking process of those sealed burgers. The buns are beautifully stuffed with lettuce leaves and sauces. Then, they are kept inside a grilling machine until ready to serve. While taking the cooked buns out of the machine, the remaining sides are separated, leading to a round shape.

In the background, the content creator says, “This is genius. In Paris, they've created a closed burger, and it has become the crowd's favourite. No more dripping sauce or falling lettuce. Their special device seals the bun keeping everything perfectly in place. It's simple, innovative and delicious, and this spot is now famous all over the city.”

The video soon garnered much attention from the foodies around the world.

Reacting to them, one user wrote, “Uhmm.. round empanadas.”

Another complimented the innovation by calling it, “Genius!”

While many compared the dish with other food items like: “A toastie,” “A Jaffle” and “Isn't this just a burgerized cornish pasty?”

A person said, “Been doing these on the toastie maker since I was 13 years old.”

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added, “Been eating this since childhood.”

“We have had this concept in India for ages. It's especially used for grilled sandwiches,” a comment read.

“It's still gonna start dripping after 3 bites,” read a comment.

What do you think about these viral closed burgers? Let us know in the comments.

5 Reasons To Convince You To Go On A Solo Dining Experience

"Hey, wanna go out to eat somewhere?" is perhaps one of the most frequently asked questions when it comes to dining out. Going to a restaurant - fancy or casual - is a fun and delicious activity. From business lunch to romantic dinner dates, going out to eat is a great way to catch up while enjoying yummy foods. While you can go out to dine with anyone - friends, family, colleagues - you can also simply ask for a table for one. Ever done that? If the answer is yes, you know where this article is headed. If not, you are missing out on an incredible experience. Eating alone does not mean shutting yourself. It is definitely not boring. Rather, the experience will help you feel closer to yourselves as well as the world you live in.

Here's Why You Should Try Asking "Table For One, Please":

1. A Sense Of Independence

If you are eating out alone, it does not mean that you are lonely. Instead, it is being independent enough to go out wherever you want, whenever you want, eat whatever you like and pay the bill by yourself. Since you could not go out alone for dining as a child, the ability to do so now will make you feel empowered and all grown-up in a good way. Give it a try!

2. Complete Focus On Your Meal

When eating with company, you will have to or want to make conversation. Eating with someone can be a great bonding activity, however, chatting distracts us from our food to some level. If you eat a tempting dish at a restaurant all by yourselves, you are more likely to focus on your food and relish every bite to the fullest.

3. Eat Whatever You Want

Whether you are eating with just a person or a big group of 12, it is not considered polite to force your choice and taste on everyone in the group. People first discuss and place their order, and you might miss out on that dish you really wanted to try. Well, if you are eating alone, you can order and eat whatever you like without worrying about anyone else.

4. Eat However You Like

Latest and Breaking News on NDTV

Even if you are dining with your partner or closest friend, eating with company pushes us to adhere to dining etiquette. However, when there is no one watching, you are likely to feel more comfortable and not care for how you look while you eat a huge bite or drop the sushi from your chopsticks by mistake.

5. Talk To New People Outside Your Circle

Making dining plans with someone means you are not just going out to eat, but also spending time with that person. Being focused on the conversation and your company in general leaves little room to interact with new people. However, if you are by yourselves, you might be more likely to interact with the staff or anyone else in your surroundings, giving rise to new experiences.

If you have never eaten by yourselves, start with a more casual place like a sandwich shop or a burger joint. Once you feel more comfortable, you can even go to a fancy restaurant, all dressed up and full of confidence.

So, when are taking yourselves out for a yummy meal?

The Glenlivet Adds Surprisingly Old Whisky to Its Permanent Collection

Last year, The Glenlivet turned 200 years old. To celebrate, the iconic Speyside brand rolled out a variety of new releases, including its oldest ever bottling. But even with its bicentennial now in the rearview, the Pernod Ricard-owned whisky maker isn’t stepping away from age and innovation. Instead, it’s adding those qualities to its permanent portfolio with newly unveiled The Glenlivet 40-Year-Old.

Bottled at a higher-than-expected cask strength of 46.9 percent ABV, The Glenlivet 40-Year-Old was finished in custom casks from Jerez, Spain. Each cask was seasoned with a bespoke blend of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherries, giving the whisky stored inside a unique depth and fruitiness.

On the nose, the Scotch whisky offers aromas of strawberry jam, raisins, dark cherries, cinnamon, and nutmeg alongside a hint of toasted oak. The palate offers layers of plums, charred orange, dark chocolate, and licorice to go along with the usual apple notes found in Speyside drams. The finish is long and sweet, filled with warming spices and a lasting hint of sweetness.

“The Glenlivet 40-Year-Old represents more than four decades of dedication and craftsmanship from our team,” says Kevin Balmforth, The Glenlivet cask master. “It’s thanks to the efforts and foresight of my predecessors who laid down the foundation of this whisky 40 years ago that we’re able to showcase the trailblazing spirit of The Glenlivet with the introduction of such a special and highly aged permanent expression during such a monumental year.”

The Glenlivet 40 costs $6,000 per bottle.

The brand made sure to take things a step further when designing the packaging as well, which isn’t the usual teal they use for other releases. Instead, they opted to present the single malt in a copper-colored container that's supposed to remind imbibers of the copper stills used to make the Scotch. The bottle, meanwhile, is elegant and straightforward with gold lettering.

The Glenlivet 40-Year-Old is set to begin its rollout in limited numbers at the suggested retail price of $6,000 per bottle.

Who Is Vin Diesel's Partner? All About the Mexican Beauty and Their Kids

For nearly as long as the moviegoing public has been aware of Vin Diesel, he’s had a special woman by his side. The Fast & Furious star, who’s remained with the franchise playing Dominic Toretto, patriarch of the unofficial “family,” since the 2001 debut film, has been romantically linked with Paloma Jiménez since 2007.

But through almost two decades together, they've decided to keep things very low-key by Hollywood terms. Yes, they make the occasional red carpet appearance. And unlike Post Malone’s fiancée, we know her actual name. We also know that she once worked as a model. Still, the two tend to keep their private life just that. (She’s not on social media.)

Here, we break down everything to know about the Guardians of the Galaxy and Chronicles of Riddick star’s longtime relationship with Jiménez, from her background to marriage rumors, their kids, and more.

Who Is Paloma Jiménez?

A Mexican native, Jiménez, 41, was born in coastal Acapulco. She worked as a model before her relationship with Diesel revved up. Jiménez appeared as the cover girl of Maxim Mexico in January 2005 and Max Mexico in August 2006. Additionally, she’s walked runways for several designers including Alberto Rodriguez and Carlo Demichelis, according to People.

What’s more, despite being tied to one of the main faces of Fast & Furious, Jiménez decides to stay out of the limelight. She’s reportedly not on social media, at least not with a public-facing account, and has been quiet about her partnership with Diesel. Now, Diesel is very much on social media, but shies away from talking about his personal life, keeping his posts mainly to promoting work like his seemingly endless Fast & Furious output.

However, the couple has been photographed on the red carpet, notably for movie premieres including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Riddick.

So, Are They Married?

As far as the media knows, Diesel and Jiménez are longtime partners who have chosen not to dip into matrimony. Again, that’s as far as we know, as the two like to keep details of their love life locked down.

Parade reports that Diesel is domestic partners with Jimenez. The rest gets murkier. We don’t even know how they met.

"I’m not gonna put it out there on a magazine cover like some other actors,” Diesel said of this area of his life. “I come from the Harrison Ford, Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino code of silence.”

What About Kids?

In addition to 18 years of staying together, Diesel and Jiménez have expanded their family, and we’re not just talking about Fast & Furious costars. Diesel, born Mark Sinclair, and his partner share three children together: daughter Hania "Similce" Riley Sinclair, born in 2008; son Vincent Sinclair, born in 2010; and Pauline, born in 2015. The youngest, Pauline, was named in tribute to her father’s Fast & Furious pal, the late Paul Walker, following the sorely missed star’s death in a car crash in 2013.

If you want insight into the couple's tight-lipped intimacy, look no further than Diesel’s comment to Parade years ago talking about how he was slow to find the woman for him.

“While I was doing Pacifier, it really started to bring out this desire to have a child,” he said. “It took a couple years after that to find the right person and to hopefully be mature enough to be a great father which is really all you want to do.”
