REI's spring clearance sale has deals on everything from hiking footwear to seasonal clothing, but the best category to shop through right now is camping gear. Just ahead of spring and summer camping adventures, the brand is dropping the prices on select essentials, like packs and bags, sleeping gear, and even furniture, but REI's deals on tents are a must-see with up to 60% off the original prices.
A ton of spacious six-person tents are on sale right now from brands like The North Face, Big Agnes, and REI Co-op, among others. If you're shopping on a budget, you can run away with an entry-level tent from Alpine Mountain Gear for as low as $55. Other models for bikepacking and even motorcycle camping are on sale. After Men's Journal looked through REI's deals on tents, we found these four that are sure to keep you cozy on your next outdoor adventure.
The North Face Wawona 6 Tent, $350 (was $500) at REI
The North Face's Wawona 6 Tent is REI's current bestselling camping tent. With floor dimensions of 120-by-96 inches, this spacious multi-season tent has enough room to comfortably sleep three (or a family of four), with a mudroom to store all of the day's dirty gear so you can keep the sleeping area clean. The North Face has also made assembly easy by color-coding the poles. This tent is on a limited-time sale that ends on April 22, so make sure to get yours quickly.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "I've had this tent for about a year and a half now and have gone on about 10 camping trips that were three to five days long each. And man, me and my wife and two dogs (Australian shepherds) love this tent—so much room, even with all of us in it. There have been days it’s rained on us and we can sit in the…mud room and so much room there, too. Did well in two nasty thunderstorms."

REI Co-op Skyward 6 Tent, $314 (was $449) at REI
This six-person tent from REI Co-op has even more sleeping space than The North Face Wawona 6, with an area of 120-by-100 inches and a vertical apex of 78 inches. This tent is perfect for warm-weather camping, with plenty of bugproof mesh paneling that allows for maximum ventilation. The walls are also nearly vertical—a convenient feature that makes standing much easier. If you're camping in this solo, you'll be living like a king. With a family, you'll still be very comfortable.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "This tent is really easy to set up. Best with two people because of the size, but it only took 10 minutes without any prior tent building in the last 17 years. Will be five minutes next time. Lots of room to stand and spread out…We bought the coordinating footprint and it did its job of protecting the tent and keeping out the dew. The zippers and poles are clearly good quality and will last us years. The vestibule is a nice touch and a great way to add privacy and a place to take off shoes."

Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 2 Tent, $390 (was $650) at REI
Big Agnes' Wyoming Trail 2 Tent is the best tent for bikepacking or motorcycle camping. It's been designed to maximize common space with a massive vestibule that can double as a gear storage area. Two roll-away doors allow for easy access to the common area but also feature double-zippers when closing up shop for the night. With a combined area of 78 feet, this tent weighs just over 12 pounds when fully packed—easy enough to store on a bike or tow.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "This is a great motorcycling travel tent. It's on the heavy side, but on a motorcycle that's OK. Having a huge vestibule to put all your gear in and just hang out in out of the weather is a game changer. There's a lot of tent fabric to contend with, but you have to expect that given the huge covered area. Bulletproof quality, great in the rain and wind."

Poler 2+ Person Tent, $196 (was $280) at REI
At just 6 pounds, this two-person tent from Poler is the one you want for multi-day backpacking. The rainfly and flooring each have a waterproof coating to keep you out of unexpected rain, but if it's hot and humid, it's fully mesh-walled to ventilate the way you need it to. Everything packs down into a compact stuff sack to get you back up and moving the next morning.
What Shoppers Are Saying: "This tent has held up well. I recently used it while camping at Voyageurs National Park, and it kept me dry on a very wet and windy night. It’s very spacious, with enough room to comfortably sleep two people and store lots of gear as well."
