When the pandemic struck in March 2020, many people's businesses suffered. As the world was plunged into a public health crisis, people's livelihoods were endangered. They had to begin looking for alternative ways of making ends meet. Over the years, we have come across many inspirational accounts of people who rose to the challenge. Recently, a vlogger shared a similar story on his Instagram page (@foody_jsv). He visited a roadside stall in Faridabad selling Rajma Chawal and Kadhi Chawal and began interviewing the couple working there. He asked them how they began their particular food venture. The man narrated their journey in brief and Insta users were left applauding their efforts.

The man first explained that he used to work with a printing press. But due to Covid-19, his business went down and he had to take up another job. However, he was still not able to make ends meet. Hence, he and his wife decided to start something on their own. As the voiceover continues, we see the man ladling rajma on top of the rice. He also adds some pieces of radishes and a bit of hari (green) chutney made of mint and coriander. Watch the full video below.
The video has received 672K views so far. The vlogger mentioned that they are located at Green field colony, near Gate No. 5 in Faridabad. In the comments, people all praised the couple's spirit and hard work. "That's the definition of true love," wrote one user. Another said, "May god bless them, and earn a lot of money."

Others pointed out that the food seemed delicious. One user wrote, "Pehli bar on video dhang k rajma dekhe hai. Good." (Translation: It's the first time I've seen proper rajma on video. Good). Another user said, "Kadhi toh tasty lag rahi hai." (Translation: The kadhi is looking tasty). A third wrote, "I tried it! It was damn amazing."
