Amul Celebrates Sania Mirza's Last Grand Slam With Heart-Warming Topical

Indian tennis player Sania Mirza played her last Grand Slam match recently, before bowing out of the Australian Open. On Friday (January 27, 2023), she returned to Melbourne Park for one last hurrah and played the Mixed Doubles final with Rohan Bopanna. Fans from across the globe took to social media to shower their love on the 36-year-old tennis player for her illustrated career. Joining the bandwagon, dairy brand Amul too dedicated their latest topical to Sania Mirza's final match at the Australian Open 2023.

Keeping up with the tradition, Amul recently shared a graphic on social media, featuring Sania's emotional speech at the post-match ceremony. In the picture, we can see Sania in front of a mic, giving her final speech at Melbourne Park. "Kabhi Alvida Na Sania," the caption on the poster reads. It also adds, "Hang Up Racket, Open Packet!"

For the unversed, Sania Mirza and her compatriot Rohan Bonappa lost the match at 6-7(2) 2-6 to the Brazilian pair - Luisa Stefani and Rafael Mataos - at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Friday (January 27, 2023).

Earlier in 2022, Amul shared another heart-warming graphic dedicated to Sania Mirza, when she announced her retirement post-Australian Open 2022.
