So, you know what you’re gonna buy everyone for Christmas. That’s a solid first step! But if you’re like us, you probably don’t have any of your gifts in-hand just yet. If you’ve been putting off your holiday shopping, take note: If you’re hoping for Amazon to bring the goods before Christmas, you’d best build that cart and place your orders ASAP: the last day to score free shipping from Amazon is Tuesday, December 18.
Prime members have a bit longer to check out: Saturday, December 22 is the last day for you to score free two-day shipping. If your orders are eligible for free one-day shipping from Amazon Prime, you could feasibly hold off checking out until Sunday the 23rd. That’s cutting it awfully close—too close for our tastes, but sometimes the perfect gift takes a little bit of extra time to get just right.
True daredevils will probably wait until Christmas Eve to do their shopping. If so, be sure to select only those items eligible for Amazon Prime same-day delivery. Just be sure to put in your order that morning. Wrapping it up and sneaking it in a stocking or under the tree on Christmas Eve (or morning!) without anyone noticing isn’t a risk we’re normally willing to take, but sometimes it’s absolutely necessary.
