If you know someone who’s big into tech and gadgets, big into gaming, or big into big-screens, give them the gift they really want: a VR headset.

Until now, VR headsets were massive, unwieldy things that had to be tethered to a PC to provide their otherworldly user experience. And pretty expensive, to boot. No more. With Oculus Go, VR is now cordless, portable—and affordable. You can get it for less than $200.

Not to be confused with its older and more powerful—and more expensive—brother the Rift, the Oculus Go is VR for the masses. You don’t need to be a gadget geek or serious gamer to enjoy the Go. The setup is quick and easy, and operation is as effortless as can be; just put the headset on, sit back, and immerse yourself. We made a video about it here.

The unit is lightweight and relatively comfortable, considering the everything need to operate VR is resting on your face. The padding is designed with innovative, breathable fabrics and the same kind of injection foam molding developed for professional athletes. The fast-switch LCD  improves visual clarity and reduces screen-door effect, and the newest generation of Oculus lenses claim to greatly reduce glare compare earlier versions. Finally, awesome speakers are built right into the headset, making it a real plug-and-play VR experience that’s easy to share.

Is the VR experience as high-quality as that on PC-driven units? Probably not—but this one is half the price, and while it’s relatively new to market the early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. And more content is being released every day; Oculus announced recently that the Go is now compatible with SlingTV, which delivers ESPN, FX, HBO, Showtime, and more.

Even if they’re not a gamer, sports fanatic, or cinephile, everyone will love the Oculus Go. It’s available at Amazon and elsewhere online, but you can also get it at brick-and-mortar stores like Best Buy.
