Indian food is renowned for its rich flavours and aromatic spices. Indians take pride in their traditional food and culinary heritage. While people around the world have acknowledged the beauty of Indian cuisine, some delicacies may seem a little too spicy for foreigners. However, it is amazing how many people from outside visit the country and seem quite excited about diving into the plethora of dishes available here. Have you ever seen a foreigner reacting to Indian food? Well, one such video has gone viral on social media. We are talking about a woman from the US who tried samosa chaat and biryani and boy, her excitement cannot be contained in words.
The video features the woman talking to viewers. She can be heard saying, "Indian food will always slap. Every time. You hear me?" She then goes on to apologise if she fails to pronounce the name of the Indian dishes kept in front of her. The two delicacies are chaat samosa and chicken tikka biryani. The samosa is topped with the quintessential chutneys, chopped onions, and sev. The chicken tikka biryani also looked appetizing. She also shows another packed box of regular samosas. She appreciates the flavours of the dishes and says, "The flavour be flavouring". She then takes a spoonful of chaat samosa and eats it. Her reaction is unmissable.

Needless to say, she is extremely pleased to get her hands on Indian food which she believes will always "slap". That, for those not updated with the latest internet lingo simply means -- Indian food will never disappoint. And we cannot help but agree.
Take a look at the video:
The video was posted a few months ago and has crossed 1.3 million views. Reacting to the clip, one user wrote, "I once volunteered at a Hindu family wellness centre and they fed us. And when I tell you, I think about that meal every day."
An Indian user stated, "As an Indian, this person has our permission to get the pronunciations wrong and not be judged."

One comment read: "Plus they always have vegetarian options! If I'm in a new town going out with friends, I always suggest we get Indian because I know I'm gonna get something delicious and veggo (vegetarian)."
"I think it's got something to do with the fact that Indians don't use a lot of processed food. Ask any Indian mom about frozen paranthas or ready to eat and she will remove you from her inheritance. We learned recipes from our moms who learned from their moms, so it's sort of a rite of passage while growing up. Same for all Asian food. Flavours be bouncing off your plate!! My favourite after Indian is Thai and Japanese cuisine," a user added.
Another follower said, "The appreciation for Indian food in the video and comments just makes me so happy for my country's diverse cuisine. And the fact that the representation has elevated from butter masala dishes to other sub-cuisine dishes as well, I LOVE TO SEE IT."
"Girl you ain't even eat the real deal yet. Most places outside India tweak their recipes to suit the natives' palates. Come to India!" a user gushed.
Someone also wrote, "This is why I am SO BLESSED to be welcomed by an Indian family. This is literally me EVERY time I eat with them. My stomach is ALWAYS full, and they always send me home with extra! Blessed to be loved by them!"
