Science-Tested, Athlete-Proven: Under Armour RUSH Workout Gear

If you’re looking to wring out that last one percent, to push your body as hard as you can and as far as it will go, Under Armour has a new line of workout gear that can help you take yourself to new limits. UA RUSH is responsive workout apparel and gear scientifically designed to enhance performance.

For an athlete to reach their full potential, there’s more to tap into than just sweat and competition. UA RUSH is a scientifically engineered, mineral-infused fabric that gives athletes that extra edge by recycling the body’s energy. It’s basically an infrared sauna that you wear, intended to provide the same benefits to the body.

Minerals are extracted and broken down into active particles, which are then melded together to form a proprietary blend. The blend is then infused into fibers that are ultimately knit into high-performance fabrics in the UA RUSH collection.

How Does It Work?

Under Armour’s newest performance apparel line is designed to be worn at the time of sweat. During workouts and competition, your body emits heat. A ton of it. Responsive UA RUSH fabric absorbs that heat and converts it into infrared energy, then re-emits that energy back into the body. The result? Increased temporary localized circulation, improved performance, and speedier recovery.

The UA RUSH collection includes fitted tees, long-sleeved shirts, leggings and tights, and a sports bra for women. Pieces range from $45-$100, and will be available for purchase on April 11 at UA.com.

Who’s Wearing UA RUSH?

Stay tuned for a documentary film coming out this summer, where Under Armour will be providing a glimpse into the UA RUSH training experiences of some of the world’s most elite athletes, including Steph Curry, World Cup champion Kelley O’Hara, and heavyweight boxing champ Anthony Joshua.

We got a sneak peek into the UA RUSH line; check out some of our favorite pieces below, and see the full line at UA.com.
